Unlike traditional prenatal breastfeeding classes, the Teach Me How To Breastfeed course offers a lively and engaging environment to learn breastfeeding basics. This 90 -minute class is for any parent who desires to feel confident and prepared for breastfeeding their baby when they arrive and is best attended in the 3rd trimester.

In this Prenatal breastfeeding education course, you will learn

• Breast changes in pregnancy

• Milk production 

• First latch 

• Colostrum and early infant feeding 

• Latch & position 

• Breastfeeding confidence ( how to know my baby is getting enough)

• What to expect in the first week

For Professionals: Lactation Education for Birthworkers and health care providers

Teach Me How To Breastfeed for professionals is a semi-introductory course geared for those supporting breastfeeding parents and babies in the first couple of weeks post-delivery. This 3 part series includes more than 8 hours of breastfeeding education and will help doulas, midwives, & healthcare professionals feel confident in supporting dyads, identifying red flags for poor feeding, and knowing when to refer out to an IBCLC.
