Postpartum healing and closing is a traditional and ancestral practice to heal the body, mind, and spirit after one has given birth, suffered a fetal demise, miscarriage or abortion.

There are over 200 Bones in the human body. during pregnancy, a hormone called relaxin relaxes the cartilage between bones. This is particularly important for the pelvic bones as it relaxes the pubic symphysis allowing the pelvis to open up, thus making space for the baby to pass through the birth canal. Post-partum closing and binding aids in the healing process and helps bones, muscles and organs, move back into to position.

The Post Partum healing and closing ceremony include:

  • Nourishment: A selection of warming herbal teas and nourishing food to aid in healing your womb, promoting robust milk production, and warming your body from the inside out.

  • Herbal Bath: A hot, soothing bath with herbs to heal the perineum, relieve pain, and relax your mind.

  • Yoni & Womb steam: aids in the restoration of your womb and is healing to the perineum.

  • Womb massage: A gentle massage with warm oils and use of TCM Moxa

  • Bone Closing/Sealing: You're wrapped from head to toe in traditional cloths, while being anointed, prayed for, and loved.

This is a celebration by and for women. Invite your mother, sisters, and close female relatives and friends.

After your closing, you will feel, Restored, Reinvigorated and Loved.

You will have a renewed sense of confidence to continue on your journey through motherhood.

You will be set on a path to continue your postpartum healing.

Includes 3 visits within a 6-9 week postpartum period & following
